Genesis 3:16-19 
Their rebellion affects their relationship with Yahweh. But their choices also pave a path of strain, a curse between them; and all future generations. Women will suffer pain during birth, and men will toil over the Earth they depend on for survival. The Serpent’s curse is a never-ending meal of the dust of death. (19:51)
